NCAA Football Betting Tips

Lucky Lester here with some NCAA Football Betting Tips for all you guys out there who, like me, are counting the days till the College Football season kicks off (no pun intended).

Through out College Football Season, I will be posting a series of articles with some betting tips and other information that should help you succeed in winning a little extra cash with your NCAA Football wager at your favorite online sport book.

So come back often to check out my NCAA Football Betting Tips.

You Heard It Here First

I'm here to talk about six teams that are going to disrupt the preseason rankings and surprise the hell out of the big time teams and conferences everywhere. Memphis, Wisconsin, Kansas State, Auburn, Maryland and Texas might not be on anybody's top five lists, most won't even crack the top 10, with one that won't even start out the season in the top 25. But don't hesitate to put your money on these six squads. Anyone can tell you that Oklahoma, USC, Miami, and FSU are going to win games, but with spreads that stretch over five touchdowns, where's the money in that? Listen closely, and stack the odds in your favor. Bet on these teams to win and you won't catch yourself kicking your TV off its stand because Oklahoma didn't beat Texas A&M by the 42 point spread.
(Rankings are from the Associated Press as of September 2)

Wisconsin (21)
The Jim Sorgi to Lee Evans combo has graduated and will no longer be a staple in the Badger offense. But Anthony Davis will continue to make his mark in the Wisconsin record books. If Davis' load is too much to carry he can turn to help from his backup Dwayne Smith who just happened to rush for 850 yards last year, including a 207 yard performance against Michigan State. Wisconsin will follow the lead of their Heisman hopeful and his senior laden line. An excellent line makes mediocre quarterbacks look good, giving them time to make good decisions. The badgers were a mediocre 7-6 last year with a loss to Auburn in the Music City Bowl, but don't count them out. With a total of nine starters back on offense and eight returning on defense, the team is one year older, and unlike the Oakland Raiders last year, in college one year older is actually a good thing. John Stocco, the likely replacement for the graduated Jim Sorgi will have plenty of weapons to throw to in receivers Jonathan Orr, Brandon Williams and Darrin Charles and tight end Tony Paciotti. The Badgers might have two of the best defensive playmakers in the Nation with defensive tackle Anttaj Hawthorne and safety Jim Leonhard. Anttaj is a force to be dealt with, recording 20 tackles for loss last year alone. Leonhard has hands as good as any D-back in college football and is only three interceptions away from the school record of 21. Special teams also look good, relying on the extraordinary ability of Jim Leonhard. Barry Alverez, coming off an unlucky 7 win season will bring his winning attitude back to his football team and could very well eclipse ten wins in a tough Big Ten Conference.
