2005 NCAA Watch Them Fall!

Kentucky: The Wildcats are overrated. They are a good team with a solid group of players, but I don't see them getting the job done during Tourney Time. Alabama is looking to pull the rug out from under Kentucky, and take the top spot in the division. If this happens it will be a sign of things to come for the Cats. What do you think about that Meow?

Texas Tech: The fluke win over Kansas in a double overtime barnburner has many people praising Coach Knight's team. If the Red Raiders make it to the Sweet Sixteen I'd be stunned. Though Coach Knight always manages to put together winners, more often than not he loses a handful of games to lesser teams during the year. This doesn't bode well for The Big Dance. A solid team attack shows what Knight can do for his team, three guys averaging 3+ assists, 4 guys averaging 12+ points a game, and 5 guys averaging more than 3 boards a game. The recent loss to Iowa State shows what happens more often than not to Knight's teams.

Louisville: A home of another really good coach (Patino), and a real solid team assault, (5 guys averaging 10+ points) the Cardinals might be ready to stumble down the stretch. They've played plenty of close games against mediocre talent this year, but it might be too much to place them here. Like the Wildcats, they are a very good team. But some good teams have to stumble; Louisville looks to me like one of those teams. Francisco Garcia is really good.
